Dear Friends,
At this time of the year we need your support to help others in need. We would like to inform you of the many ways you can help us
1. As you know at Lux mundi Fuengirola we help the homeless with food and clothing twice a week. Due to the drop in temperatures we have run out of sleeping bags and raincoats. If you have some of these items and you would like to donate it, we will very grateful in the name of those in need. Please bring us your donations Monday to Friday to the Fuengirola Centre from 9:30 to 2:30.
2. As every year we organize a Christmas lunch for those in need and we take this opportunity to give them a gift. This year we think it will be ideal to give them a pair of shoes good enough for the winter time. We will appreciate if you can give us some money toward it so we make sure we buy the right number for those who come regularly to our Centre. We have been looking around and the price for a pair of shoes is around 35€. We have in average 30 people coming to the Monday and Thursday lunch , so we are talking about 1050 Euros from which we already have 340€. Please help us to achieve our dream!
3. We also contribute from both Centre’s Fuengirola and Torre del mar with toys for children, which are distributed by the various Caritas at the special party for the 3 kings. We will be very grateful if you contribute for these presents either by giving us donations to buy some toys for them or by giving us toys, if possible wrapped in transparent paper of labelled so we know what it is and for what age.
4. We would like also to invite you to include in your new years resolutions to give sometime for people in need. WE are looking for help for our Cocina Solidaria on Mondays and Thursdays and for volunteers for our fundraising activities for our centre in Fuengirola . So please get in contact with us!!!
