On the 19th of June Lux Mundi, Torre del Mar held an evening of song and entertainment entitled “Around the World in Song”, performed by the “A Touch of Class” choir which was founded in May 2014. 

They perform under the musical producer, director and choreographer Pauline Hulme. There was an International audience who were very appreciative and enjoyed the show very much. After the show the friends tucked into a traditional English tea of scones, homemade strawberry jam and clotted cream and a drink. The aim of the concert was to raise funds and non perishable items of food, which each friend brought as a very generous donation.  All the food Lux Mundi will give to the charity Caritas. At the end of the show Gloria, the administrator of Lux Mundi, thanked the choir for their excellent entertainment and pointed out how the choir generously assist at the Lux Mundi, Fuengirola Centre helping to serve the free meals they produce there every week.  She also introduced Marisol Fernadez, Director of Caritas, Torre del Mar, and asked Pauline Hulme to present to her the donation of the funds the event had raised. Marisol thanked everyone for their generosity and explained the aims and help the charity gives to the community for people in all kinds of need!!
