On Friday 13 February, we organised a special Valentine’s Coffee Morning for our regular guests. The centre was filled with homemade cakes decorated with hearts and messages of love, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere for everyone who joined us.
We also set up a fun Valentine’s “photo corner” so that our friends could take home a cheerful memory of Valentine’s Day 2026. As some of our regular attendees do not have partners, we decided to invite a few very special “guests” to keep them company — including Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Daniel Craig, Sean Connery….. Not to be outdone, Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren and Julia Roberts also made an appearance. Even Donald Trump was spotted joining the celebrations, apparently unwilling to miss such a memorable occasion!
The photographs from the morning say it all: laughter, companionship, and plenty of good humour. At Lux Mundi, love is always at the heart of what we do — not only romantic love, but friendship, kindness and community spirit.
It was a delightful morning that reminded us all that everyone deserves to feel valued and included.
