On the 25 of July 40 friends of Lux Mundi, Torre del Mar travelled by coach to Granada.
On arrival in the city centre there was plenty of time to go shopping or to have a meal in one of the local restaurants on a beautiful summer’s evening. At 9 o’clock the group rejoined the coach for the short journey to the Generalife gardens of the Alhambra Palace, where they watched the spectacular show “Oh Cuba!” a work that combines poetry, dance and music, in two pulse-beats and five heartbeats. It is based on texts by Federico Garcia Lorca, Nicolas Guillen and other testimonies relating to Lorca’s stay in Cuba. The show lasted for 1 hour 45 minutes and was spell binding. All who supported this trip agreed that the show was one of the best seen in Granada resulting in a truly memorable night!
Lux Mundi wishes to thank all who supported this excursion, which enables them to continue with their charity work and we hope to see you again at our future events.
