Every Wednesday, a group of people meet to paint, knit, and create in an atmosphere full of joy and companionship. Whether you enjoy oil painting, watercolours, pen and ink, crafts, or simply sharing a pleasant time together, this space is for you.
There is no teacher and no strict rules — only the desire to enjoy, learn from one another, and let creativity flow in good company.

Every Friday morning, the centre opens its doors to share a cup of tea or coffee, a refreshing drink, friendly conversation, and a slice of freshly baked homemade cake.
It’s an open invitation to friends, visitors, and supporters, in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere — the perfect setting to meet others, make new friends, and enjoy an easy-going morning together.

From time to time, Lux Mundi organises one-day or multi-day trips to discover some of the most special corners of Spain. We travel in a warm and friendly atmosphere where everyone feels welcome, accompanied, and cared for.
Our itineraries are easy-paced and designed to be enjoyed without rushing, with pre-arranged visits and activities that allow us to experience the heart and charm of the towns and cities we explore.

Each month we organise a lunch at a local restaurant to share laughter, conversation, and pleasant moments in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a lovely opportunity to meet, make new friends, and accompany those who live alone, enjoying together both good food and human warmth.
We discover restaurants in the area, savour delicious and affordable menus, and above all, share the joy of being together. Lux Mundi volunteers, friends, visitors — everyone is welcome!

In a multicultural community like ours, there are many topics of shared interest that help us connect and integrate better from health and public services to technology and culture.
Thats why, at Lux Mundi, we regularly organise talks and practical workshops on useful matters for everyday life.
For example, in 2024 we offered sessions on:
- Health: how to prevent a stroke, basic first aid
- Services: how funeral services work in Spain
- Practical procedures: workshops on how to apply for the Andalucía 65 card, among other topics of interest

Spanish Among Friends

Join our practice sessions!
At Lux Mundi, we run small Spanish Practice Groups for different levels, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. They’re ideal for building confidence, expanding your vocabulary, and improving your expression in everyday situations.
Wednesday & Friday mornings – Guided practice sessions according to level Thursday afternoons – Span-Glish, our language exchange group: English and Spanish, face to face, with plenty of humour and conversation!
Come and improve your Spanish (or your English!) while making new friends from all over the world.
We’ll be waiting with coffee, smiles, and plenty of enthusiasm for talking.

“Our Shops”
Both of our centres have a dedicated space for our charity shops. Thanks to donations of clothing, handbags, shoes, jewellery, household goods, homeware, books, and more, our volunteers do a wonderful job of transforming these items into unique and attractive pieces for sale.
Our shops are known for offering quality products, carefully presented and at very affordable prices. In this way, not only do we benefit, but so do those who buy. At the same time, we directly help people in need — especially during the winter — by providing clothing and essential items free of charge.
Through reuse and recycling, we also promote a more ethical and sustainable approach to consumption, contributing to the care of the environment.
We are deeply grateful for your donations of good-quality clothing and items you no longer use. They help us fund the running of the centre and sustain our charitable work.
