The ecumenical carol service was held on Saturday 19th December in the Parish Church of San Andrés in Torre del Mar, where Christians from different traditions, friends and residents in Axarquia, came together to pray and enjoy the traditional carols.
The prayers were led by the Rev James Tayler Reformed Spanish Church, Steve Anderson Evangelical Church, Mogens Jeppensen Danish Church and Miguel Angel Alonso Parish Priest, readings by various members of the congregation and the carols were performed by the Spanish Choir “Unidos por la fe”, the German choir “Los Cantadores” and the English International Music Society Choir.
It was a most enjoyable service, with the congregation joining the various carols, the words of which were displayed on large screens at the sides of the church. After the service many friends went back to the Lux Mundi Centre to enjoy a buffet and drinks and of course more carol singing.
