On Friday morning December 29th, Lux Mundi, Torre del Mar held their annual New Year Party at the Centre.
Many International friends came to join in the festivities which started at 11.00am with coffee and drinks; this was then followed at 12.00 noon with the traditional 12 grapes and Cava. Gloria started the proceedings by banging the gong and at each stroke a grape was eaten and a wish made. Then followed the English tradition of joining of hands and singing of “Auld Lang Syne”, many of the friends were bedecked in fancy hats and streamers. It was a wonderful opportunity for those friends who may be alone on New Year´s Eve to celebrate.
