Recently Lux Mundi, Torre del Mar held their Autumn/Winter fashion show at the centre, more than 100 international friends were greeted on arrival with a free welcome drink, after which they were shown 70 outfits of new and nearly clothing and accessories.The outfits were modelled by 14 International friends of the centre.
The show was accompanied by background music overseen by Sue and the compare Carolyn Bowen, gave an amusing descriptive and anecdotal commentary-
During the interval the audience were able to purchase drinks and delicious homemade cakes.
At the end of the show the models and the many volunteer helpers were given a vote of thanks and there was time for a group photo in the garden and following this the many friends were able to purchase the items that had been modelled. The event raised the generous amount of €1197.85 to support Lux Mundi in its charitable work and are very pleased and grateful for all the work, support and help that make possible a very enjoyable Fashion Show. Due to the success of the event, Lux Mundi is already planning their Spring/Summer show which will take place in April 2016, when again all friends will be welcome to attend. We hope to see you then.
